Before I forget, here is the elusive Cassowary. There's heaps of conservation areas for them, but we had been up here for days and never saw one. That is,..until we were leaving the Daintree. This one is a mum as she had the baby behind her on the ridge.
On the previous trip a couple of years ago, the only cassowary we saw, disappeared into the forest before I could even get my camera out. So I was quite pleased that I got a fairly decent picture of her.
